Job Summary:

We are looking for a Manager in assisting the GM to lead all aspects of our business. You will deliver a high-quality menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. Restaurant Manager responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability, and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation and maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and experience in both the front and back of the house. We want you to know how to oversee the entirety of the restaurant from checking in with customers to back-of-the-house management experience. You’ll hire qualified staff, set work schedules, oversee food prep, and make sure we comply with health and safety regulations.

We will expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have memorable experiences with Rosati’s.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily front and back of the house restaurant operations
Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction, respond efficiently and accurately to customer concerns
Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity ensuring all positions are staffed as needed while meeting labor cost objectives
Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
Hold regular staff meetings and ensure compliance with policies/procedures
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations to meet health code standards
Control operations, costs and identify measures to cut waste
Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and events
Create and institute sales, marketing and promotional plans for the restaurant
Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality and appearance of restaurant and employees
Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
Prepare all required paperwork including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
Track alcohol sales and complete weekly inventory log. Ensure proper procedures according to TABC are being followed.

Qualifications:

Three years proven work experience as a Manager in the restaurant/hospitality industry
Extensive food and beverage knowledge required
TABC, food handlers and management certification required
Must have bar tending and serving experience
Strong leadership, communication, motivational and people skills
Acute financial management skills
Higher education in hospitality and management preferred but not mandatory.
You must be committed to improvement, both in the operations of your assigned restaurant as well as in your own personal and professional development
Possess the ability to motivate your staff in a positive and creative manner
Must have reliable transportation, flexible hours and willing to work weekends and holidays as required

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
